Each year, the Early Career (EC) Forum hosts its flagship Summer Conference dedicated to showcasing early career research, career development and networking. The conference provides early career microbiologists with a peer-led conference experience designed to offer a friendly introduction to scientific conferences and professional development opportunities.

Alongside presented scientific research, delegates have the opportunity to experience professional development sessions focused on preparing you for the next steps in your career, and networking sessions to meet other microbiologists at your career level.

All people who identify as an early career researcher (including undergraduate, Masters and PhD students, and postdoctoral researchers) are welcome to attend.

Continuing Professional Development (CPD)

This event has been approved by the Royal Society of Biology for purposes of CPD and can be counted as 32 CPD points
